April Fool?


Libya heads this agency,
Like a fox is in charge of watching the chicken,
Vietnam chairs the Asean,
Uncle Ho leads the fight for freedom for his compatriot peasants.

Libya is a leader of human rights activists,
Ho Chi Minh be for freedom,
Hitler liberate Holocaust,
Stalin demolish gulag,
Mao Tse Tong condemn land reform,
Kim Il Sung build playgrounds,
Pol Pot go shopping spree in The Hague,
Nelson Mandela appreciate his liberator the US,
George Bush stop kissing babies,
Boat people go home to celebrate the Lunar New Year,
And Tiananmen would be too large a playground
For a quarter of people on earth.

It often gets worse,
Before getting better.
Despair
May consume your mind and heart,
Blind your future.
